Programs & Services

Whether arguments between business partners or a family feud, human beings will continue to disagree. What is not inevitable however, is conflict.

We help, parties can salvage relationships, save money and gain valuable insight into each other's needs.

About the founder

Hakam Takash is the Founding Director of Jus Gentium Services, where he specializes in conflict resolution, mediation, and strategic political analysis. Previously the longest-serving Palestinian diplomat to the United States (2001–2018), Hakam assumed the role of Acting Head of Mission and notably oversaw the politically sensitive delegation closure. A frequent speaker on Middle East policy and national security, he is adept at navigating complex bilateral issues as well as diaspora diplomacy. His work bridges the fields of law and development, with extensive experience facilitating dialogue and public engagement. Hakam holds a Master of Laws in International Dispute Resolution from the University of London.

Free from Hate

The program centers around eliminating religion as a catalyst for hate. We provide cultural sensitivity training and introductory courses in world religions, to help combat ignorance and fear. Through cultural education and dialogue, the program aims to reduce othering and promote understanding.

Imagination Nation

A Community Building Exercise for peace-builders. Participants are asked to share their unique vision for a society free from hate and fear where people of all faiths, classes and ethnicities live together in harmony and peace. By sharing their hopes and dreams with one another groups gain valuable insight into each other's motivations. This process has proven highly effective in defusing conflicts, bridging cultural gaps and promoting trust.

Trigger Training

We all have a Trigger,

Sometimes it's a word or phrase that triggers us. Other times, it's a behavior or ideology. We facilitate training on well known triggers for certain communities, why they exist and how we can express ourselves without using triggering language. Through dialogue we work together to reach a conclusion where some triggers are avoided, replaced or tolerated, depending on their intent, context or history.
